Axial CT of the Wrist         (Return to List of Available Self-Test Images - Normal Structure)

This is a contiguous series of CT slices of the wrist in a 64y old woman. To assist you in identifying structures, a 3D reconstruction made from these images has been placed in the lower left corner. The patient complained of pain on the ulnar side of her wrist. Plain films failed to reveal any skeletal problem because it is so subtle. It is easily seen on these CTs. You can look at the video frame by frame and try to identify the labelled structures. The answers will be revealed when you click on the appropriately labelled drop-down arrows below the image.
